The Vidyaloka College, Galle, which was badly damaged due to the 2004 tsunami, is now fully constructed and functioning as before.

The Hirdaramani Group, with funding from the Harrow School in the UK, has got the school back on its feet with many new additions and facilities as per the MOU signed with the Ministry of Education to re-construct and re-habilitate the school. 

The new three storey building that was built to replace 3 damaged buildings is now in use. We are also in the process of providing water facilities to each primary class room within the new block.

The final finishing touches to the school Main Hall, Craft Room, Computer Lab and the Staff Room are currently underway.

The funds collected by the Hirdaramani Group and the Harrow school to furnish the additional new gymnasium together with the River Side Gym in the UK have been utilized accordingly.
