Green Fact:
Recycling is the reuse of materials that would otherwise be considered waste. Recycled materials can be derived from pre-consumer waste (materials used in manufacturing) or post-consumer waste (materials discarded by the consumer).

We separate all our waste material from various sources within the whole group.
Polythene	-	is sold to Polypack recycling plant at Kaduwela. They produce lower gauge polythene for domestic use.

Cardboard/paper	-	is sold to Neptune Paper (Expolanka subsidiary) which is then exported to India for recycling.

Plastic	-	is sold to Viridis Homagama who crush them and supply to Kevilton, American water etc.

Sludge	-	generated in the washing plant are in experiments stage with Amtrad to make paving tiles, concrete blocks etc.
